It was almost completely painless (except to my wallet) and took less than 15 minutes, my eye felt a little gritty at times for 2 days, but its now ok. My vision is definitely clearer and im sure my reading has improved. I guess I was thinking it would be like a light switch and my vision would be fantastic, the surgeon did actually say "Pop! and my vision would be great the next day", well it wasn't but I can't burn things or see through them either, I Just see a bit better and thats enough, was it worth 2k? well everyone will have to make their own minds up, but I got my money's worth, I guess Ill have to wait and see if it slows or stops my eyes getting sore, if it does then its definitely worth it, theres still the chance of infection so theres still a little concern

Excellent. I did Laisik in 2010 prior to doing the AIDS Lifecycle ride from SF to LA (never liked the vulnerability of being able to lose or break my glasses on a long athletic event) and it was almost a religious experience (the next day anyway)...
