Maybe you can help - My father's line comes from Scotland (one T). So, I'm Scottish (two Ts) or Scotch (one T). But am I a Scot (one T) or a Scott (two Ts)? And whichever it is, does it carry over from singular to plural, as in "The Scots/Scotts are a mighty people!"
